Some homes have a special story, and 61342 Huckleberry Place is one of them. When my sellers found their dream home, they needed to move quickly. Their offer depended on selling their current home first, so the clock was ticking — we had to get the right buyer through the door, fast.
The Marketing Plan
The home is in River Canyon Estates in Southwest Bend. I live just blocks away — it’s one of my favorite neighborhoods in Bend — so it was easy to highlight what makes this home and location special. Here’s what I did:
- Multiple open houses — each one busy, drawing both neighbors and buyers from outside the area.
- Neighbor outreach — I personally door-knocked to invite neighbors, because sometimes the best buyers come from next door or by word of mouth.
- Advertising and exposure — targeted ads, strategic social media, and drone photos to show off the location.
- Authentic connection — as a neighbor, I could speak first-hand to the lifestyle and value this home offers. Buyers don’t just want a house; they want to know what it’s like to live there.
The Result
Pending in just 13 days, and closed on August 18. My sellers removed the contingency on their dream house and moved forward on what they hope will be their forever home.
This isn’t just about marketing — it’s strategy, connection, and persistence. For these sellers, it worked out on both sides.
